Mauser Model 98 in .243 Winchester

Description

This custom gun was built on a Mauser Model 98 action fitted with a ¾ safety, hinged floor plate and re-contoured bolt handle.  It has been sighted in and has seen less than 40 rounds through the new .243 barrel.  The stock is a three-board laminate of American walnut adorned with coco-bolo at the fore-end, pistol grip and butt.  It has basket-weave checkering /engraving, sling swivels (detachable) and leather sling and is fully glass bedded to ensure stability and accuracy.

It has been fitted with a Bushnell Elite 4500 variable scope and Leupold rings and base.
