This gun suffered a poor initial customization with an overly long Green Mountain barrel, badly fitted open sights, loose fitting stock and crudely polished receiver. A total re-work was completed including:
- African Bocote wood stock with Mun ebony fore-end
- Glass bedded at all pressure points
- Action re-polished to bring back original sharp lines and remove previous machine marks.
- Barrel trimmed to 28 inches to reduce front end weight, and re-crowned
- Lyman hooded front sight with 7 inserts installed
- Pedersoli – Creedmoor rear tang sight installed
- Metal, checkered butt plate and barrel finished with Arma-coat
