Weatherby Vanguard, Custom-stocked and in .30-06

Description

This gun is “as new” and has been fitted with a stock of  striking book-end Claro Walnut purchased from Northwest Timber in Oregon. Grain is both complex and the laminated mirror image boards bring symmetry to both sides of the rifle. Full length glass bedding ensures stability and maintains Weatherby’s reputation for accuracy. Rosewood adorns the Schnabel fore-end and pistol grip.  Checkering is at 18 lines per inch. All finished in Tung Oil.

I have fitted the gun with a Leupold 2 – 7 X 40 scope, rings and bases.
